The study – Conservatism and Social Issues

The research “Conservatism and Social Questions” aimed to know the thoughts, values ​​and positions of a large part of the Brazilian population, essential to build bridges and reduce polarization in our country. The study included 120 qualitative interviews and ethnographies with people residing in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and Recife, based on ethnographic interviews.

Results

The study identified how a moderate conservative public debate sensitive topics such as social, gender and racial inequalities. The results provide insights into the challenges of communication and of building a space for dialogue in the midst of political polarization in the country.
